Wash Water Recovery & Environmental Compliance During the course of each service all water generated during the wash process is collected and pumped to an appropriate discharge point (see below). Many of our collection methods are proprietary and are therefore not discussed here on this web site. However, you will be given a written description detailing exactly the methods we will be employing in the servicing of your fleet. The pollutant content of wash water can normally be brought well below the local sanitation department discharge limits. Consequently, typical discharge points include on-site clarifiers / separators, or the sanitary sewer. When on-site sanitary sewer discharge is not appropriate or possible, we will tank and haul off the collected wash water to an appropriate disposal site.
